Ben Roethlisberger isn’t interested in taking shots at former offensive coordinator Todd Haley.
Haley is headed to the Cleveland Browns to be their new offensive coordinator, and the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback had only nice things to say about his offensive coordinator of six seasons.
“We had a great run, very successful when he was here,” Roethlisberger told NFL Network’s Jane Slater at the Pro Bowl, via Marc Sessler of NFL.com. “Just thankful for the opportunity I had to play with him and be a part of that offense and now we have to face him twice a year. So we’ll see how that goes.”
Roethlisberger is taking the high road despite the fact that numerous reports have indicated he and Haley really didn’t get along. It’s probably easier for Big Ben to say nice things and move on now that Haley is with a different franchise.
