Bernard Pierce reportedly robbed at gunpoint, carjacked
Baltimore Ravens second-year running back Bernard Pierce was robbed at gunpoint and carjacked on Sunday, CBS 3 in Philadelphia reports.
Pierce, who attended Temple, was robbed along the 7500 block of Haverford Avenue, per CBS Philly.
CBS 3 reports that a gunman jumped from a car while his accomplice remained behind the wheel. The gunman robbed Pierce and his companion, then stole the vehicle and drove off.
Pierce’s BMW was found in another part of the city, recovered, and processed by police for possible clues.

Pierce carried the ball 108 times for 532 yards and a touchdown as a rookie last season. A recent report on the Ravens’ website said Pierce was expected to split even more carries with Ray Rice in the upcoming season.
