Bill Belichick has dog make Patriots’ draft pick

Bill Belichick’s live draft cam produced a truly fantastic moment early in the second round of the NFL Draft on Friday night.

ESPN had live cameras set up to capture the setups for every NFL team’s coach and general manager. That meant Belichick had a camera on his setup in Nantucket.

When it came time for the Patriots to pick, Belichick didn’t show up on his camera. His dog certainly did, though.

Did Belichick do this on purpose? We can only hope. It would be a classic Belichick move in his own way. The dog ended up taking safety Kyle Dugger with the pick.

One could tell that Belichick probably wasn’t enamored with all this access just from how sparse his setup was. The man does not care what you think of him or his dog.
