The most wonderful time of the year probably isn’t so wonderful for Bill Belichick at the moment. The New England Patriots lost a brutal game to the Miami Dolphins last weekend and are traveling to Baltimore for another tough contest against the Ravens on Sunday. A New England loss and Miami win would make the AFC East as tight as possible heading into the final week of the season. Still, Belichick seems to be in the holiday spirit.
Earlier this week, a reporter asked the typically cranky coach what his favorite holiday song is. Surprisingly, Belichick answered the question with a massive grin.
“Actually, I enjoy all of them,” he said. “I really do. Pretty much whichever one comes on puts a smile on my face. It’s a great time of year.”
It’s also a stressful time of year for NFL coaches, but we’re glad to see Bill is still taking time to rock out to Christmas tunes and enjoy himself. If the guy didn’t seem to enjoy Halloween so much, the Christmas carol thing might come as more of a shock.
