Bills fan reactions were utterly heartbreaking after loss to Chiefs
Buffalo Bills fans are no strangers to heartbreak. But experience doesn’t make the pain hurt any less.
The Bills on Sunday saw their Super Bowl dreams dashed yet again by the Kansas City Chiefs in a 27-24 affair at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, N.Y.
The Bills were all but finished after kicker Tyler Bass missed his 44-yard field goal attempt with 1:47 seconds left that would have tied the game at 27.
Bass’ kick failed in familiar fashion for Bills fans — wide right. Audible gasps and groans from the crowd echoed around the stadium after the kick.
I just feel so unbelievably bad for Bills fans.

Buffalo famously lost Super Bowl XXV on a field goal attempt that went wide right. While Sunday’s contest wasn’t for the Lombardi Trophy, the defeat still stung deep for loyal Bills fans hoping that this would be their year.
The Bills went through their fair share of adversity earlier this season. The team started 5-5 and looked like they were going to miss the playoffs halfway through the campaign.
Buffalo rallied to win their final five games and secured themselves home-field advantage for the first two rounds of the playoffs. But despite hosting Patrick Mahomes’ first road playoff game, Josh Allen and the Bills still came up short against the Chiefs for the third time in the last four years.
