Brandon Marshall released by Seahawks, wants to keep playing
The Seattle Seahawks have decided to part ways with veteran wide receiver Brandon Marshall, but that does not mean he is going to call it a career.
Marshall was informed on Tuesday that he is being waived, but ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that he “absolutely” intends to keep playing football.

Marshall caught just 11 passes for 136 yards and a touchdown with the Seahawks this season, so it is hardly a surprise that they are parting ways with him. It seemed like his roster spot was anything but secure heading into the season, but Seattle decided to keep him with Doug Baldwin battling a knee injury.
While a receiver-needy team could take a chance on him down the stretch, Marshall will likely have trouble finding work.
