Brett Favre gets incredible ovation from Packers fans (Video)
Brett Favre was inducted into the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame on Saturday night, and there were absolutely no grudges held. In fact, 67,000 fans bought tickets on a night where no game was played at Lambeau Field just to show their loyalty to No. 4.
Favre, who went through an ugly divorce with the Packers in 2008 only to later sign with the division rival Minnesota Vikings, was greeted with a hero’s welcome.

There have been rumors for the past couple of years that Favre was putting off his return to Green Bay out of fear of being booed, but there was little doubt that Packers fans would give him the reception he deserved.
“All I can say is wow. Wow,” Favre told the Lambeau Field crowd, per Frank Schwab of Shutdown Corner. “This is absolutely amazing. I don’t have the words to express the feeling coming out of that tunnel to this ovation. Thank you. Thank you so much.
“If there were any doubts before, there’s not any. I truly thank you.”
Are we really supposed to believe that the Packers were worried? Favre played 16 seasons in Green Bay, never missed a start and won a Super Bowl. He had trouble accepting that the team had moved on to Aaron Rodgers, but that’s clearly all water under the bridge. He is well-deserving of his place in Packers’ history.
