ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that Ware has been hired by the Denver Broncos as a pass-rush consultant this offseason. He’ll work for the team on a part-time basis.
Broncos are hiring former LB DeMarcus Ware as a pass-rush consultant on a part-time basis, per source. Ware will work a few days a week, a few times a month, trying to help improve Denver’s pass rushers.

Ware currently ranks eighth on the NFL’s all-time sack leaders list with 138.5. He racked up 21.5 in three seasons with the Broncos before he retired in 2016. Ware, 35, expressed his excitement over seeing how Denver’s loaded defensive line will perform this year, so it makes sense that he wants an even closer look at the unit.
