Trent Williams’ future is murky right now, but it sounds like one team isn’t giving up on trying to trade for him.
According to Julie Donaldson of NBC Sports Washington, the Browns continue to have “definite discussions” on a potential Williams trade. The New York Jets, another team rumored to be seeking offensive line help, are not thought to be involved.

The Browns’ interest in Williams has lingered since last season, and we knew Tuesday that they have yet to abandon their pursuit. They’d love another offensive lineman, and if Williams is healthy, he’s among the best.
We don’t really know where things stand with Williams right now. For now, Washington is wavering on a deal, but that doesn’t necessarily mean nothing will happen. We may have more clarity by the time the NFL Draft concludes.
