Bryce Petty is set to undergo further testing after being crushed on a huge hit in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 34-13 loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Petty was crunched by Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh on a pass play where it looked like his offensive line didn’t even try to block (video here). Petty left the game and was replaced by Ryan Fitzpatrick.
After the game, Jets head coach Todd Bowles said Petty had a chest injury but X-rays were negative. Petty will undergo a CT scan to see whether he has further injuries.
Bryce Petty will have CT scan tomorrow to determine whether he has a bruised and/or punctured lung
