Calvin Austin III tears it up at NFL Combine with blazing 40 time
Memphis wide receiver Calvin Austin III absolutely tore up the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis on Thursday.
Austin was the first of the wide receivers to run a 40-yard dash. He put in a blazing speed of 4.32.

The 40-yard dash wasn’t the only area where Austin stood out at the combine.
Earlier in the day, the 5-foot-7 receiver also displayed a 39″ inch vertical, which tied him for the best among receivers. His 11’3″ broad jump was the best among receivers.

Austin isn’t just about speed and jumping either. He produced on the field. As a senior, Austin had 74 catches for 1,149 yards and 8 touchdowns. As a junior, he had 63 catches for 1,053 yards and 11 touchdowns.
