CBS halftime show has technical difficulties during AFC Championship Game
The CBS halftime show during the AFC Championship Game did not exactly go according to plan on Sunday.
For a portion of the halftime show, the lighting on the CBS set at M&T Bank Stadium was not working. The crew did part of the show in the dark, only for the lights to blink back on and off during their segment.

The crew couldn’t help but joke about what was going on. Boomer Esiason joked that he felt like he was “in a club.” Fortunately, the issue did not pop up again for the remainder of the show.
CBS has not exactly had great luck with their on-location AFC Championship halftime shows in the past. At least this issue was nowhere near as significant as what plagued them two years ago in Kansas City.
