A viral video of an elderly man getting tossed into the air by an angry bison has taken over the internet lately. Even former NFL star wide receiver Chad Johnson joined the discussion, but somehow managed to keep his take football-related.
On Friday, a bison at Yellowstone National Park was caught on video attacking two tourists, leaving one injured after getting lifted eight feet into the air by the monstrous mammal.
Like many people on the internet, Johnson saw the clip. The former Cincinnati Bengals star wide receiver even offered a scouting report on the bison, though he also shared his thoughts on the unlucky tourist.
“Bison have no lateral movement, hesi to the right & sidestep to the left. Hope the tourist is okay,” the six-time Pro Bowler wrote on X.

According to People.com, the National Park Service (NPS) confirmed that a 65-year-old man was hurt by a bison attack on July 10.
But there’s another minor football connection in this wild story, as the other person charged by the bison appeared to be wearing a No. 14 Miami Dolphins jersey. For what it’s worth, former Texas Longhorns star quarterback Quinn Ewers is the latest player to wear that number for the Dolphins.
