Chad Kelly reschedules Pro Day for April 22 after wrist injury
Chad Kelly’s Pro Day did not go as hoped.
The Ole Miss quarterback, who is coming off surgery to repair a torn ACL suffered in November, cut short his Pro Day on Monday after just 12 throws due to a wrist injury. He was set to make about 35-45 throws, which is less than the typical amount for most QBs at a Pro Day, but a good amount for someone coming off knee surgery.
According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, Kelly has rescheduled his Pro Day for April 22.
Kelly isn’t giving NFL teams much time to make decisions on him, as the draft begins on April 27. Between his ACL injury, wrist problems, and all his off-field stuff, I would stay away from Kelly. He’s got more red flags than Ryan Leaf.
