Chargers confirm Joey Bosa will be out Week 2 and beyond
Joey Bosa has been recovering from a foot injury that was initially not expected to keep him out for the start of the season, but the star defensive lineman is now looking at a multi-game absence.
In an appearance on SiriusXM NFL Radio Thursday, Los Angeles Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn confirmed reports that Bosa will not play in Week 2 against the Buffalo Bills. He also indicated Bosa could be out longer than that.
"He's week to week but he'll probably be gone for the next couple weeks …" -Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn talking Joey Bosa on @SiriusXMNFL.
Not good.

Bosa visited a foot specialist on Wednesday, so it’s safe to assume he did not receive great news. The former first-round pick suffered a foot injury in training camp, but the latest foot ailment is a new one that occurred in the week leading up to the Chargers’ opener.
The Chargers allowed the Chiefs to score 38 points in their Week 1 loss, so it goes without saying that they need Bosa back as soon as possible. Bosa recorded 23 sacks in his first 28 NFL games and is one of the best pass-rushers in football.
