Chargers TE Hunter Henry changes cleats after slipping on costly pick-six
The Los Angeles Chargers fell behind early in their Thursday night game against the Oakland Raiders after a costly pick-six.
Philip Rivers threw into traffic and was intercepted by Erik Harris, who returned the ball 56 yards for a touchdown in the first quarter. Replay showed that Rivers appeared to make such an awful throw only because tight end Hunter Henry had slipped.

Henry was later shown on the sidelines changing his cleats.

The change paid off. A quarter later, Henry caught a 2-yard touchdown pass to cut Oakland’s lead to 10-7.
Until replay showed that Henry had slipped, Rivers looked like he had thrown a terrible pass.
