The Kansas City Chiefs canceled their practice on Thursday amid some concerning circumstances.
The Chiefs announced that their Thursday OTA session was canceled due to a medical emergency with a player. No details were provided, but Nate Taylor of The Athletic reported that a reserve player was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. The player was said to be in stable condition.
The Chiefs have postponed their OTA practice for today, one that was set to be the open reporters, after a medical emergency. I'm told a backup player was taken by ambulance to an area hospital. He's in stable condition.

The Chiefs said practice is expected to resume on Friday.
Some NFL teams began mandatory minicamp this week, but the Chiefs are still in the voluntary portion of their offseason program. They will hold mandatory minicamp from June 11-13.
