Chiefs say they ran out of touchdown fireworks during 51-point explosion
The Kansas City Chiefs absolutely exploded offensively in their win over the Houston Texans on Sunday, and it appears even they did not predict they would find the end zone so many times.
After falling into a shocking 24-0 hole in the first half, the Chiefs scored touchdowns on seven consecutive possessions en route to a 51-31 victory. They scored so many touchdowns that they announced they had run out of fireworks at Arrowhead Stadium.

In other words, the Chiefs were so explosive that they ran out of explosives.
After some of the critical mistakes they made early in the game, the Chiefs looked like they had no chance of advancing to the AFC Championship Game. Fortunately for them, Texans coach Bill O’Brien made a couple of questionable decisions with his team leading by three scores, and it was all downhill from there for Houston.
Fans love seeing fireworks when their team scores a touchdown, but we’re guessing the Kansas City faithful will forgive the home team this time.
