Chris Harris jokes he won’t give up his jersey number for Jamaal Charles
Broncos cornerback Chris Harris may very well help roll out the welcome mat for free agent Jamaal Charles but not when it comes to his jersey number.
Harris, who wears the same No. 25 that Charles wore for many years in Kansas City, jokingly told a Twitter follower on Monday that he wouldn’t change it for the four-time Pro Bowl running back.
you better not change your number when we get jamaal @ChrisHarrisJr

It was reported earlier in the day on Monday that the 30-year-old Charles would be visiting with the Broncos this week.
Harris has worn No. 25 for his entire NFL career, but so has Charles, even dating back to his college days at the University of Texas. Still, Harris can claim Mile High City tenure, so Charles will likely have to try his luck with a different number if he does wind up in Denver.
