Cody White can only laugh (virtually) over a glaring blunder CBS made after he scored one of his two touchdowns in the Las Vegas Raiders’ 26-14 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
After White caught a 13-yard pass from quarterback Kirk Cousins for a score in the third quarter at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif., CBS mistakenly flashed a graphic of a different player on air. Instead of White’s headshot, CBS used that of Raiders wide receiver Corey Rucker. The rookie Rucker wasn’t even suited up for the game, as Las Vegas has placed him on the injured reserve list.
But White took CBS’ gaffe in stride, posting on X with three laughing emojis in response.

White’s reaction appears to indicate that he’s content with the noise he made on the field to help the Raiders notch their second win of the season in as many games, and not even a TV mistake can diminish the joy he’s feeling over his performance.
The former Michigan State Spartans wideout made his huge day even more memorable by scoring his second touchdown in the Chargers game in the fourth quarter.
The 27-year-old White had just been elevated from the practice squad by the Raiders the same day as their game against Justin Herbert and company, and he delivered right away downfield.
He reverted to Las Vegas’ practice squad on Monday, but fans may not have seen the last of him on the field this season.
White could be back on the field on Sunday, when the Raiders lock horns with the New Orleans Saints at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La.
