Colts make decision on Anthony Richardson for Week 5
The Indianapolis Colts have made their decision on quarterback Anthony Richardson for Week 5.
Richardson was downgraded to doubtful on Saturday a day before their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. The move means Joe Flacco will almost certainly start for the team in Week 5.
The #Colts downgraded Anthony Richardson and Ryan Kelly to doubtful for tomorrow’s game. Both were a big stretch to play based on this week’s activity.
Additionally, CB Samuel Womack has an illness and is now questionable.

Richardson was questionable on Friday’s injury report, but Flacco was getting the first-team practice reps. The second-year quarterback is dealing with hip and oblique issues, and while there had initially been hope that he would not miss any games because of the injury, but obviously, he did not respond physically during the week as they had hoped he would.
The Colts are going to be quite shorthanded against the Jaguars. Running back Jonathan Taylor is also out after he suffered an ankle injury last week, even though that was not thought to be serious either.
