Commanders WR recruits Micah Parsons after head coach hire
The Washington Commanders’ hire of Dan Quinn has head coach has one member of the team shooting his shot with Cowboys star Micah Parsons.
Wide receiver Jahan Dotson reacted to the Quinn hire by calling on Parsons to join the Commanders. Parsons had previously joked that Quinn “might take me with him” if the former Dallas defensive coordinator landed a head coaching job elsewhere.

When Parsons made that joke, he probably was not expecting Quinn to be hired by a division rival. Of course, he also was not serious in the first place, but he gave Dotson a pretty solid opening for a recruiting pitch all the same. Maybe Parsons would consider the move if it meant he would get a few more calls, but probably not.
Dotson and Parsons played together at Penn State from 2018 to 2020, so Dotson was just waiting for his chance. Ultimately, Quinn will be tasked with turning the Commanders into a contender, and will be asked to find ways to slow down Parsons in the process.
