Cooper Kupp is back on top of the football world, but this time with his hometown team.

When he signed a 3-year, $45 million contract with the Seattle Seahawks in March 2025, many didn’t think that the Yakima, Wash. native would reclaim the same Super Bowl glory he experienced during his time with the Los Angeles Rams.

But on Sunday, he proved the doubters wrong, as he raised the Vince Lombardi Trophy again by helping the Seahawks eke out a 29-13 victory over the New England Patriots at Super Bowl LX in Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

After the win, the 32-year-old Kupp shared a three-word message on social media that underscored his Washington homecoming.

Seahawks supporters and Kupp fans immediately flooded his post with positive messages, which surely made his night even better.

So happy for you Coop! And you achieved the impossible. You got a bunch of Rams fans to root for a man in a Seahawks jersey today. The #ramily will always love you

Greatest NFL player to ever come out of the state to win a title for the home team is storybook. Congrats!

Big congrats. You all played a strong game! Blessed from the start.

Hell yeah it was. Welcome home. COOP!

Kupp made his mark on the Seahawks’ win, as he led his team downfield with 61 receiving yards on 6 receptions and 12 targets. It was not a sparkling performance akin to his showing at Super Bowl LVI with the Rams, but it was more than enough to help Seattle win its first Super Bowl title since the 2013 season.

What’s more, Kupp became the fourth player in NFL history to have a single-season receiving yards title and multiple Super Bowls, as noted by the NFL on X.
