Zack Martin was helped off the field during the second quarter of the Dallas Cowboys’ preseason game against the Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday.
The Cowboys were running a sweep play to the right and Martin pulled on the play. He was cut down by Bengals defender Dre Kirkpatrick, who went low on him.
Martin was down on one knee after being cut down and was helped off the field by Cowboys trainers. He had a bit of a limp as he walked off the field.
Martin, who was famously taken by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2014 draft instead of Johnny Manziel, has made the Pro Bowl all four of his NFL seasons. He’s twice been named All-Pro.
Martin has never missed a start during his career. He received a record extension from the Cowboys in June.
