Dak Prescott and the Dallas Cowboys got themselves in a deeper hole through six weeks of the 2026 season after suffering a 23-13 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
The Cowboys couldn’t get it together at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisc., but Prescott isn’t one to lose hope in his teammates.
“Very frustrating. But we got to fix it. And all the guys in that locker room are capable of it,” Prescott said after the game, via Jon Machota of The Athletic.
“We put ourselves in this position. We just got to take it one at a time. We just got to go get a win.”
The Cowboys have a lot to fix to get back on track. For one, their defense has been a huge letdown, particularly over the last two weeks. They gave up 24 points and 419 total yards to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5 and 23 points and 303 total yards to the Packers.
Prescott can also start by looking at himself after going 34/54 for 258 passing yards, a touchdown, and two interceptions against the Packers.
With a 2-4 record, Dallas is behind the 3-2-1 New York Giants and 2-4 Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC East standings.
The Cowboys play the Eagles in Week 7 at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa.
