Damontre Moore released after incident involving Beats By Dre headphones
Damontre Moore was drafted in the third round of the NFL Draft by the Giants in 2013. His time with the team has now come to an end after an incident involving a teammate and headphones.
On Friday, the Giants released Moore after a reported incident with veteran defensive linemen Cullen Jenkins. Odell Beckham Jr. brought Beats By Dre headphones for members of the team and, apparently, Jenkins helped himself to more than one pair. That led to Moore not getting a pair and reportedly a confrontation between Moore and Jenkins.

As FOX Sports’ Mike Garofolo adds, this most recent incident was just one of multiple incidents, which caused Moore to wear out his welcome with the Giants.
Indications are there was a recent incident that led to the release of NYG DE Damontre Moore, but it was also an accumulation of incidents.

Moore played in 11 games for the Giants this season, recording 23 tackles, one forced fumble, and three sacks, which is tied for second on the team this year with Jenkins. In 42 career games, Moore has 8.5 sacks and two forced fumbles.
