Darrelle Revis, Brandon Marshall fight at training camp
Darrelle Revis and Brandon Marshall are off to a fast start in Jets camp. And by fast start, we mean they’ve already began fighting.
Revis and Marshall were trading trash talk throughout practice on Friday, but things boiled over after Marshall said something to Revis from the sidelines. He apparently slapped Revis on the shoulder pad, and the cornerback hit him back. A teammate physically picked Marshall up and carried him away to defuse the situation.
Earlier in the practice, Marshall apparently burned Revis for an 80-yard touchdown. After that Marshall taunted Revis with a DeAndre Hopkins zinger in reference to Hopkins burning Revis for a couple of touchdowns and over 100 yards last season.
Given each of their histories, news of a fight between the players should not come as a surprise. Heck, it actually seemed like these powder kegs were due for a blowup.
