Panthers rookie cornerback Daryl Worley had an interesting choice of cleats for the team’s game against the Redskins.
With Josh Norman now a member of the Redskins, the Panthers have turned to two rookies to contain opposing wide receivers. James Bradberry was a second round selection and Daryl Worley was taken in the third round. For Carolina’s “Monday Night Football” game versus Washington, Worley had custom cleats made that could be perceived as a shot at the former Panther.
Worley’s blue, silver, and black cleats had the words “Will the real Batman please stand up?” on them along with the Batman logo.

Norman is a noted fan of Batman and referred to himself as the Dark Knight after a game against the Colts last season. He also kept a Batman statue in his locker and dressed up as the popular character for a costume gala in October.

If Worley can give the Panthers production similar to what Norman provided a season ago, they will be thrilled with their draft choice, with or without a moniker.
