Las Vegas Raiders rookie Brock Bowers has already won over one of his veteran teammates, judging by his new nickname.
Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams raved about Bowers and his focus when it comes to football. In fact, that single-minded focus has earned Bowers the nickname “BM” for “business man.”

“That’s BM, man. That’s what I call him. BM — Business Man,” Adams told reporters on Wednesday. “He don’t care about nothing else other than just locking in on football. I can see it in his eyes. I try to tell a joke and get him to laugh … and he’s just sitting there stone-faced, didn’t laugh at a thing I said. I was like, ‘This is BM right here.'”
Time will tell if the nickname sticks, but Bowers has apparently caught the attention of his Pro Bowl teammate. If Bowers proves to be a big weapon immediately, it will take some pressure off Adams to carry the offense, too.
Adams himself has not sounded particularly enthused to be on the Raiders. Maybe Bowers can lift his spirits a little bit.
