Davante Adams injured on Thomas Davis blindside hit
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Davante Adams was injured after falling victim to what is sure to be a controversial blindside hit from Carolina’s Thomas Davis.
With the Panthers trying to return an Aaron Rodgers interception, Davis shot across the field and hit Adams helmet-to-helmet as the play developed, with Adams remaining down for a while. The Packers reported that he was being evaluated for a concussion.

Davis, who has spoken about player safety in the past, seemed very upset on the sideline after the play.
Thomas Davis recently said on @PFT_Live that NFL players try to take care of each other. He seems to be bothered by what he did.

It’s safe to say that based on recent precedent, particularly this JuJu Smith-Schuster hit, Davis could well be facing a suspension for his actions.
