Longtime NFL linebacker DeMarcus Ware wants to help the Dallas Cowboys in a certain way.
Both of Ware’s former teams — the Cowboys and the Denver Broncos — are set to face off on Sunday, and Ware thought about helping the Cowboys in a certain capacity — but decided that, physically, he’s not quite up to it.

Ware made clear that he’s not picking a side for Sunday, though, with both teams getting his affection.

Ware had some other interesting quotes about just how close he came to returning to the Cowboys during the offseason. He certainly hasn’t fallen out of love with football, but wants to protect himself and enjoy his retirement.
