DeMarcus Ware will miss Sunday night’s game against the New England Patriots with a back injury.
Ware was ruled out on Friday and won’t suit up, the team announced, via ProFootballTalk’s Michael David Smith. Ware leads the team with 6.5 sacks, and his absence will undoubtedly hurt the Broncos as they look to put pressure on Tom Brady and the undefeated Patriots.
Denver is already forced into playing Brock Osweiler at quarterback, and Brady will likely feel much better about his chances without Denver’s most fearsome pass rusher coming at him.
