Report: DeShone Kizer could fall out of first round
Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer is reportedly in danger of falling out of the first round of the NFL Draft.
According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, some NFL teams are not convinced by Kizer’s attitude and maturity, which could cost him a spot in the first round. In particular, Cal quarterback Davis Webb is rising on draft boards, and could go near or overtake Kizer.
Kizer seemed to have a short leash at Notre Dame at times, which prompted some criticism of coach Brian Kelly. However, it seems that some NFL scouts are clearly unconvinced. At this rate, Kizer may regret going pro instead of coming back for his senior season, because things don’t seem promising for his draft position.
