Dez Bryant reminds Cowboys fans he played with broken foot

Dez Bryant

Dez Bryant clearly was not the same player this season when he returned from a foot injury, and some wondered if that had more to do with Tony Romo being out than Bryant’s fractured bone.

On Sunday, Bryant took to Instagram to remind fans how difficult it was to come back from a broken foot in less than two months.

For the cowboy fans

The Cowboys are definitely a better team than their 4-12 record showed. There are very few teams in the NFL who can have success after losing their starting quarterback, and it’s clear how important Romo is in Dallas.

Bryant never caught more than five passes in a game and topped the 100-yard receiving mark just once after returning from the foot injury. He also had another one of his infamous blowups (video here) and was clearly frustrated. It’s hard to tell if a lack of effort contributed to his struggles.
