Former NFL running back Dion Lewis is in trouble with the law again.

Lewis was arrested on Monday in Tampa, Fla., according to TMZ. The 32-year-old was booked on a misdemeanor charge of trespassing after he allegedly became “unruly and belligerent” at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa.

A spokesperson for the Seminole Police Department told TMZ that Lewis was accused of “causing a disturbance and refusing to leave the premises.”

Lewis played in the NFL from 2011-2020. He was primarily a special teamer for several teams before he signed with the New England Patriots in 2015 and took on a big role. Lewis had more than 1,000 yards from scrimmage and 9 total touchdowns with Patriots in 2017.

Lewis was part of the Patriots team that completed a miraculous comeback against the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI. He also played in New England’s shootout loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl the following year. Lewis openly bashed the Patriots after they let him walk in free agency after the 2017 season.

Months after he announced his retirement in 2021, Lewis was arrested for driving while intoxicated. He has since landed a job as a running backs coach at the University at Albany.
