DK Metcalf is one of the best athletes in the world, but you definitely would not know it based on his diet.
The Seattle Seahawks star appeared this week on Kevin Garnett’s podcast for Showtime and revealed his absolutely horrific eating habits. Metcalf said that in addition to eating one meal and having one coffee a day, he also eats three to four bags of candy every day.
"I eat one meal a day, drink one coffee, and eat like 3-4 bags of candy."

The best part of that clip has to be Garnett’s disappointed dad face upon Metcalf revealing that he is The Candy Monster. You can’t really blame Garnett either.
The good news for Metcalf is that, as a 6-foot-4, 235-pound NFL player who is constantly working out, he burns things off much faster than the average person. But while that might help him with calories, it is a lot harder to neutralize the effects of all that pure sugar intake.
It is a wonder how Metcalf, a Pro Bowl receiver who even has legit dreams of competing in the Olympics, does it with a diet like that one. After all, we’ve seen how a candy-based lifestyle has wreaked havoc on NFL players before.
