Report: Dolphins close to deal for Josh Rosen
Josh Rosen’s future may finally be close to settled.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk, the Miami Dolphins are close to acquiring Rosen from the Arizona Cardinals in exchange for the 48th pick in the NFL Draft.
Multiple sources say the Dolphins are close to a deal for QB Josh Rosen, and that a deal may actually be tentatively done. Arizona would get pick No. 48 from Miami.

The Dolphins signed Ryan Fitzpatrick as a free agent earlier in the offseason, but realistically, he is not considered the long-term solution for the franchise. Rosen certainly would be, and would have a chance to contribute right away.
For Arizona, this looks like a whiff. They originally sought a first rounder for Rosen, but were slow to begin negotiations and significantly cost themselves in terms of trade value. Ultimately, they left themselves little choice but to move Rosen on, andlook to have settled for a second round pick in doing so.
