
Miami Dolphins running back Frank Gore was knocked out of the team’s game against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday after injuring his foot.
Gore had to be carted off in the first half with what the Dolphins called an ankle injury. NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport says X-rays were negative, but Gore has a sprained foot.

Rookie Kalen Ballage started to get the carries after Gore’s injury early in the game and broke a 75-yard touchdown in the third quarter. Gore had 14 yards on five carries before departing. The 35-year-old running back entered the game with 708 rushing yards on the season.
