An ugly situation seems to be brewing between the Miami Dolphins and safety Reshad Jones.
Jones was not on the field for much of the the Dolphins’ win over the New York Jets on Sunday. After the game, Dolphins head coach Adam Gase said that Jones pulled himself out of the game.
Adam Gase said that Reshad Jones pulled himself out of the game. Dolphins players hush hush on the matter, deferring to coaches. Jones not in the locker room to speak to us.

Jones was also not in the locker room to speak with the media after the game.
The Miami Herald wrote an article about Jones this week, saying his play has been below average this season. They noted he has been playing through a shoulder injury.
The Dolphins may be prepared to part ways with Jones after the season even though he is signed to a 5-year, $60 million deal. They can cut him before over $11 million of his salary for 2019 becomes guaranteed on March 16.
One Dolphins source on Reshad Jones…”If he doesn’t want to play for us, (bleep) it.”
