Doug Pederson grows frustrated over repeated Carson Wentz questions

The lingering question over the Philadelphia Eagles is whether or not Carson Wentz will be under center for the team when they open the regular season against the Atlanta Falcons.
The question has become so prominent, in fact, that coach Doug Pederson has grown rather tired of answering it.
After repeated questions about Wentz at Sunday’s press conference, Pederson admonished the media for their continued persistence.
“I don’t know how many times I can answer this question,” Pederson said, via Tim McManus of ESPN. “When they clear him, he’ll be cleared. I’m not going to put myself in a box, I’m not going to put my quarterback in a box. I’m not going to do that. And I’m not going to go on a limb and I’m not going to say that. So either ask it a different way or otherwise you’re going to get the same answer.”
The only real update on Wentz is that he hasn’t been cleared for physical contact and it’s going to be a close call. That won’t be enough to stop the questions, though.
