The Washington Redskins just hired a new head coach and are still in the process of rebuilding their football operations department, but Dwayne Haskins seems to think he already knows what they are planning to do in the upcoming NFL Draft.
Ohio State star Chase Young announced on Friday that he is entering the draft, and Haskins reacted to that news by tweeting “see you soon” with a winking emoji.

Haskins played with Young at Ohio State, so the two obviously know one another. And unless something very surprising happens in the draft, they are probably going to be teammates again.
Washington currently has the No. 2 pick in the draft, and the Cincinnati Bengals are almost certainly going to take Joe Burrow at No. 1. That will leave Young, who is the consensus best defensive player in the country, for the Redskins to pick second overall. There’s always a chance they could trade the pick, but Young is a rare talent who should make an immediate impact in the NFL. It’s hard to see Washington passing on him.
