The Philadelphia Eagles went with a legacy pick in the fifth round of the NFL Draft.
Philly selected Jeremiah Trotter Jr. on Day 3 of the draft on Saturday. They took the Clemson linebacker with the No. 155 overall pick.

Trotter Jr. is also the son of Eagles Hall of Famer Jeremiah Trotter. The elder Trotter, now 47, played eight total seasons in Philly over three stints. He made two All-Pro teams and four Pro Bowls as an Eagle, starting during the team’s Super Bowl berth in the 2004 NFL season as well.
At 21 years old, Trotter Jr. can really play too. Over the last two seasons at Clemson, he logged a combined 13.0 sacks and four interceptions. He now becomes the latest big-name defender Philly has added in this year’s draft.
