Philadelphia Eagles fans are known for being some of the most passionate in sports, and there may be no better illustration of that than what happened during a recent Pennsylvania township meeting.
A resident of Upper Darby, Pa., which is a town just outside of Philadelphia, stood up during a town meeting this week to voice some of his frustrations with Upper Darby Mayor Ed Brown. The man expressed disbelief that his fellow townspeople elected a Dallas Cowboys fan and expected positive results.
“This is what happens, guys, residents of Upper Darby township, when you elect a Cowboys fan to your government. 29 years of losing with this team. What do you expect with the leadership?” the resident asked. “This is a Cowboys fan. This guy follows the Cowboys. You see what type of leadership they have, and that’s what you put your trust in. Cowboys fan, sickening.”

Brown has lived in Upper Darby for nearly 30 years, but apparently he has not grown to love the Eagles during that time. More people know that now, which could be bad news for him.
Leave it to a Philly fan.
