Eagles’ Jake Elliott kicks 61-yard field goal to beat Giants
The Philadelphia Eagles squeezed out a win on Sunday against the New York Giants with an incredible 61-yard field goal by Jake Elliott.
With one second left in a 24-24 game, the Eagles attempted a bomb of a field goal. And Elliott, who was signed off the Cincinnati Bengals’ practice squad, made the kick, setting a franchise record in the process.

What a kick by the rookie! That made it 27-24 for Philly, which is now 2-1, while the Giants drop to 0-3.

In the end, it’s a record for Elliott, who was 2 for 3 on field goals for the second straight week.
