The Philadelphia Eagles already have their head coach set with Doug Pederson ready to come aboard, and they appear to have some ideas about potential defensive coordinators.
According to a report from SI’s Don Banks, the Eagles are interested in Jim Schwartz as defensive coordinator.
Source says Eagles have interest in Jim Schwartz as defensive coordinator. Do not know if he's Doug Pederson's DC choice, or the team's?

Source says Jim Schwartz has offers to serve as defensive coordinator from multiple teams. But not known if Eagles have made an offer yet.

Schwartz was head coach of the Detroit Lions from 2009-2013, with his teams going 29-51 over five seasons, including one playoff berth. After being fired by the Lions, he was the defensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills in 2014 but was not retained when Rex Ryan got the job for 2015. His defense was fourth in the league in points allowed in 2014, but his teams have finished in the bottom half of the league in points allowed eight of the 14 seasons he has been a head coach or defensive coordinator.
Bill Davis is currently the Eagles’ defensive coordinator.
