Report: Eagles will make major staff changes if team does not make playoff run
The Philadelphia Eagles are trending toward a very disappointing season, and changes may be afoot if things do not significant shift.
According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, the Eagles will likely make “significant changes” to their coaching staff unless they turn things around and go on a playoff run this season.
Per @mortreport, unless there is a playoff run – you can expect significant coaching changes this offseason (excluding Doug)

Mortensen stressed that head coach Doug Pederson is likely safe. However, such a warning likely bodes poorly for the likes of defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz, whose unit has been disappointing in 2019.
The NFC East is still well within reach for the Eagles thanks to the Cowboys’ ongoing mediocrity. However, Philadelphia blew a huge chance to make up some ground in the division by losing to lowly Miami on Sunday in a game that saw them get fooled badly. Games like that are only going to accelerate the types of changes this report is referring to.
