Eli Manning never misses with his self-deprecation.
It is a quality that has made Manning one of the most likable football personalities out there, and he showed it again in his response to one of those apparent rage-bait posts on social media.
A Dov Kleiman post on X featuring nine former and current NFL quarterbacks, along with a question asking who the worst among them is, caught Manning’s attention.
The two-time Super Bowl champion was not part of Kleiman’s post, and Manning acknowledged it with his familiar brand of humor.
“I’m so happy I am not in this photo!” Manning wrote.

The 45-year-old Manning last played in the NFL in 2019, but he’s still waiting for that call to Canton. It doesn’t seem to bother him, however. During his time in the league, the former Ole Miss Rebels quarterback passed for 57,023 yards and 366 touchdowns against 244 interceptions.
The four-time Pro Bowler appears to be genuinely happy with his legacy, with or without a Gold Jacket. He is still a legend, at least in the eyes of New York Giants fans, who will forever look up to him as a football demigod.
Beating Tom Brady twice in the Super Bowl surely brings one a lot of peace.
