Report: Eric Berry improving, could practice this week
The Kansas City Chiefs are off to a great start, but they could get a huge boost with a return of a star defender.
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Chiefs safety Eric Berry, who has yet to play this season with a heel injury, is improving and could return to practice this week.
The #Chiefs and #Bucs are both 2-0 and both could be getting healthier: KC S Eric Berry (heel) is improving and could practice this week, while first-round DT Vita Vea could do the same. Too early to know their status for this weekend, but positive signs.

For their successes so far, the Kansas City pass defense has not been airtight. Teams have passed for 860 yards against them this year and they could have been in much bigger trouble if not for the brilliance of their quarterback. Berry’s return to game action when it does happen will be an enormous boost.
