Eric Fisher to Kansas City Chiefs at No. 1 is now the popular pick
Although many mock drafts suggested the Kansas City Chiefs would take Texas A&M OL Luke Joeckel No. 1 overall, the sentiment has changed and others now believe they may opt for Central Michigan’s Eric Fisher.
FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer said on Twitter Wednesday that he thinks the Chiefs will take Fisher first overall. Glazer described Fisher as someone who is “big, nasty” and fits the city. He also says the Chiefs love Fisher’s nastiness.
Evan Silva of Rotoworld notes that Glazer, NFL Network’s Mike Mayock, Ian Rapoport, and Albert Breer, and CBS Sports’ Jason LaCanfora all believe the Chiefs are leaning toward Fisher.
Most mock drafts have Fisher going somewhere in the top three. Kansas City has the No. 1 overall pick, while the Jacksonville Jaguars pick second and the Oakland Raiders are third. The Chiefs are also exploring trade options for Branden Albert, their current left tackle.
