You know you’re doing well when opposing players start to appropriate your celebrations, and that’s what has begun happening to Ezekiel Elliott.
Elliott’s “feed me” celebration has inspired opponents to start making fun of it. Elliott noticed, and he tweeted out a response on Thursday night.
It's cute they want to be like me. #CantBeatEmThenJoinEm https://t.co/PY7LfgX8fx

“I think it’s funny,” Elliott said, via Jon Machota and Kate Hairopoulos of the Dallas Morning News. “It just shows that they’re focused on what you do. I think it kind of shows that you’re doing a little bit of something. If people want to go out there and try to mock you, they want to do what you do, I think it’s kind of a compliment, honestly, that they care enough to even do that.”
This is what happens when your team is setting the pace at 10-1. It’s happened to one of Elliott’s teammates as well, and it probably does mean you’re doing something right.
